VFX/Post Production Producer

I started on the production path working in the machine rooms for post facilities and distribution centers in NY and NJ as an A/V technician over 10 years ago. This gave me a solid background on the technical aspect of the post production world which slowly but surely peaked my curiosity and led me to the more challenging, creative and hands on side of the industry. One day I was given a chance to become VFX producer and I have enjoyed the late nights ever since. This unique combination has allowed me to develop an eye for detail and maintain professional relationships within the industry and produce cutting edge and full-bodied work for broadcast, installations, web and social media platforms.

A full understanding of the post production pipeline from project conception to final delivery as well as industry terminology and methodologies. Solid knowledge of industry standards and post production hardware including cameras like RED, Arri, Phantom, Canon, Sony and software applications such as Maya, Nuke, Flame, After Effects, Premier, Final Cut, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suites. I am able to work on both Windows and Mac operating systems and many digital encoding platforms such as Compressor, Sorenson Squeeze, Episode, QuickTime Pro and more. I am familiar with FTP programs, accounting and bidding software such as CETA, content and production management systems like CatDV and Wrike.

I've managed creative teams made up of both staff and freelancers ranging from 5 to 15+ while juggling multiple projects at one time and sticking to strict deadlines and most importantly, budgets, which have ranged from $5k - $500k.
